MIDAS Group of Colleges - Scholarships&Loans

The Midas Group of Colleges offers a number of scholarships, full and half loans every year to the deserving students. Midas has awarded Millions of Ringgit worth scholarships and loans to many students. YB Dato’ Seri S. Samy Vellu, Minister for Works, Malaysia had officiated and awarded the Midas Scholarships and loans to Midas students in the past years.


Midas group of Colleges provide the scholarships based on the students performance and achievements in academic or extra curricular activities. Midas gives full and part scholarships which means either the complete tuition fees is waived or 50% of the tuition fees is waived.

Midas also helps and arranges the loans for the needy students from the following bodies.

PTPTN

As all our Midas group of colleges registered and approved as PHEI (Private Higher Educational Institute), all the Midas students are also eligible to apply for the PTPTN (Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional – National Fund for Higher Education) loan. The minimum criteria to apply for this loan is that the students should have at least 3 credits in SPM.

TPK

Midas group of colleges are also registered as MLVK centres and offers the MLVK certificate courses. As such, the students pursuing MLVK courses in Midas are eligible to apply for the TPK (Tabung Kemahiran Malaysia – Skills Development Fund) loan. The students can get the maximum loan of RM 5,000 per level.

YAYASAN MIDAS

Midas group of colleges has also registered Yayasan Midas with corporate advisors and members. Yayasan Midas also provides the Scholarships and Loans for the needy students. The criteria to get the Scholarships/Loans is that the students will have to prove the financial need with proper supportive documents. After completing the course, the students should pay back the loans.

BANK LOANS

Midas colleges also help the students and arrange the study loans from banks. Many of our students have obtained study loans successfully from Bank Rakyat. Many banks in Malaysia do offer the study loans with less interest rate which helps the students to further up studies towards diploma, degree and masters programs.
